The cohort study is one of the strongest observational designs because it can be temporal between exposures outcomes. However, studies also have a limitation as they usually unfold over relatively short period time static environment. In this volume Journal, Robinson et al evaluated data from 2 cohorts examining early life factors socioeconomic status (SES) with BMI later childhood.
